About Justin

Justin attended West Virginia University from 1990-1992 where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team. He then transferred to Gannon University where he was a two year letterman in wrestling as well as a member of the soccer team. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Gannon, graduating in 1996 with a master’s degree in physical therapy. Justin passed the national athletic training exam in 2003. In 2016, Justin completed his transitional doctorate of physical therapy from Arcadia University.
Justin lectures both regionally and nationally on various sports medicine topics including ACL rehabilitation and return to play, ACL injury prevention, hip arthroscopy, core injuries/sports hernia, and upper extremity injuries in the overhead athlete. As a physical therapist and athletic trainer at Penn Therapy & Fitness/Good Shepherd Penn Partners, Justin provides rehabilitation for orthopedic and sports medicine clients. His expertise lies in non-operative and post-surgical lower and upper extremity injuries, return to sport testing, and surgical/non-operative management of core injuries/sports hernia.
